They were abducted by one person Ethan and the man hole cover (i think you are refereing to the thing that Locke found is a different story.

I believe the reason for the separate trail was that Ethan was trying to throw them of his scent, hence the reason for beating up Jack and tellling him that if he continues to follow them he would kill one of them - although I was also wondering how he managed to abduct both of them, however, given that Claire is heavily preganant, i guess the producers could easily explain that.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.......

Everyone seems to be getting an episode to give a bit of an 'explanation' about themselves, but we've already seen 2 about Jack and I have a feeling that there is still more. Kate as well perhaps?? Are they 'special' in the story, or is everyone going to end up with multiple stories (No spoilers, only speculation )

I take it at some point we'll get an explanation of those tattoos that Jack has on his arm (I remember from the first episode), or are they just the real actors??

quite frankly, I am not convinced about the characterthey used to play Kate. Kate is meant to be this hard nut that can do anythings the guys can do, but the character they chose to play her is just not convincing enough.

Additionally, Is anyone else fed up of her constantly WANTING to get involved in everything? Everytime someone says they want to do something (e.g. go into the jungle to find the "thing") her reply is always "I'm coming too".

She really irritates me to be honest and I hope she gets killed off inthe next series.!!!!

wrong men........I'm into Jin....silent but deadly is my type....so that definitely isn't the reason for my hatred of Kate.

 

I think probably because he is a Dr he is used to seeeing lots of people cry and has become partially immune to it.

When i used to sell loans I felt bad when people had thier applications rejected, after a month I didn't really care if they got upset or not.

I am a nice person but just got de-sensitivised.
