How likely are proofs going to be asked in CT3? If very likely, can someone name the important laws/topics whose proofs I need to know? I don't want to remember every proof, like that of the law of total probability for example. Thanks.
Wow, you are pretty honest about what you want to skip, but unfortunately skipping proofs is not an option in actuarial science. Almost all the proofs can be questioned, all those given in bold text as a part of Core Reading. There are many threads on the forum under CT3 where people have asked about proofs in exams. You can refer them if you want to. One of them is: https://www.acted.co.uk/forums/index.php?threads/theoretical-proofs.7195/#post-27510 Hope this helps! Regards, Shyam
