Hi Planning to sit CA3 in the new year. Would tutorials be more useful than marked assignments or vica versa. Also is the ActEd material in addition to the core reading useful? Thanks
There is no Core Reading for CA3 - just a syllabus. The ActEd Course Notes are designed to help you develop an efficient approach to answering CA3 exam questions - one which will score well against the marking schedule. We offer a one-day preparation tutorial (not regular tutorials) and a mock exam day. In the preparation day we look at best practice when communicating - so as to help you maximise your chances of passing the exam. Although we look at components of exam questions, there isn't time to complete full questions and get them marked. However, assignments give you the opportunity to practice completing full questions and getting feedback. The mock exam day enables you to 'rehearse' what will happen in the actual exam - under exam-style conditions - and to get feedback. You can get fuller descriptions of the above at our website www.acted.co.uk!
Different question on the materials.. what's included in CMP beyond course notes, just Series X papers?
CMP = Study Guide + Course Notes + Syllabus + Series X Assignments See http://www.acted.co.uk/Html/paper_cmp.htm
Mock Exams (A and B) and Series X Assignments Hi Have the series X Assignments and Mock Exams changed since the 2012/2013 issues (purchased prior to an Oct 2012 sitting)? Thanks
