Combined Materials Pack

The Combined Materials Pack (CMP) is ideal for students sitting a subject for the first time. It is available in printed format, and an eBook version is also available. The eBook version can be purchased as an addition to the paper product or as a stand-alone product. It comprises the following:

Subjects CT7, ST6 and ST9
In Subjects CT7, ST6 and ST9, the CMP also includes the textbooks referenced by the Core Reading. For both paper and ebook CMP orders, these textbooks are in paper format.

Subject CA3
There is no Q&A bank for Subject CA3.

Advice for students retaking a subject

If you have the 2011 Combined Materials Pack and intend to retake a subject in April or September/October 2012, you should make sure that your study material is up-to-date. Use the CMP Upgrade to find how the course has changed from 2011 to 2012.

Study Guide

Study Guides are available in every subject and contain all the information you need to know before you start studying. Study Guides contain details of the study support available, assignment deadlines, advice on how to study efficiently and the full Syllabus for your subject.

We recommend that you download the Study Guide and read it carefully before deciding which subjects to study and ordering your course material.

Course Notes

The Course Notes will help you develop the basic knowledge and understanding of principles needed to pass the exam. The Course Notes incorporate the complete Core Reading and include full explanation of all the syllabus objectives, worked examples and short questions to test your understanding.

In Subjects CT7, ST6 and ST9, students are also required to read material in specified textbooks, which do not form part of the Course Notes.

Question and Answer Bank

The Question and Answer Bank is a comprehensive bank of questions (including some past exam questions) with full solutions and comments.


Series X Assignments

Series X Assignments are ideal for first-time sitters as they are co-ordinated with each part of the course to give you exam practice as you progress through the Course Notes.

Note: If you order Series X Marking (which is not included in the price of the CMP or Assignments, please click here for price details) at the same time as you order the assignments, you can choose whether or not to receive a copy of the solutions in advance. If you order the CMP in ebook form, this choice is not available, ie the solutions are automatically included with the study material. If you choose not to receive the solutions with the study material, we will send the assignment solutions to you when we mark your script (or following the deadline date if you don't submit the assignment). Solutions are always sent in advance to students who have not ordered marking or who are using Marking Vouchers.
