Frustrating and disappointing. They could have at least let us know if there were likely to be problems.
Suggestion for September 2009: Email the results (this way they can stagger the results to manage the load, assuming this is the problem), staggering should just be done in a randomised fashion, my surname is too late in the alphabet! But still post the results on the internet the next day.
I just got "You do not have permission to access CT exams, April 2009, Institute of Actuaries" asking for a log-in again
Can anyone get into their private area to see if any results are posted there - I just get WSOA (white screen of agony) when I try to log in. Answered my own question: log-in loaded successfully while I was typing. "# Your exam history. This facility is currently unavailable while results for the April 2009 exam session are being added. It will be available again once the results of the April exams have been published."
I have got into the results page but the most recent it's showing is Sept 2008. http://www.actuaries.org.uk/students/exam_results
Not like this. It used to take me up to half an hour to get in to the page, but it's never been this bad (in the last 10 years).
My best guess is that they are not having any problems - they have forgotten! Did anyone else notice that they didn't have the usual link during the day telling us to bookmark the page?!
I'm glad I'm not actually waiting for my own results tonight. This must be *really* annoying! I hope someone's working on this before ST results day! My thoughts are with you poor guys
