    Hi all,

    Stupid question I'm sure but could someone please explain this.

    When we take the lambda and the mu outside of the brackets, the negative 1 is only subtracted away from the MY(t) and not the MX(t) like it was in the line above.
    Could someone please explain the step in between?

    They have taken lemda+mu outside. If you see it by again taking (lemda+mu) inside, you will get:
    exp{[Lemda×Mx(t) + mu×My(t) - Lemda -mu]}
    Same expression as above.
