Work based Skills and Change of Job

Dear all,

I wonder for changing jobs, would new employer usually ask to look at WBS?

Also, does it mean new employer would need to assign with Institute to be my new mentor?

Thanks.

At least in theory, as I understand it, the whole WBS thing can be completed without reference to your employer as long as you have a willing qualified actuary. But normally your supervisor would also be with your employer and most commonly your line manager or whoever supervises your study.

I imagine they could ask to see it, but I don't think it's usual practice.

I have more than one previous employer and I'm trying to do all the work-based skills logs for the past three years.

Does anyone know if what Calum said is true in terms of one supervisor (qualified actuary) signing all the forms as long as they are willing and convinced that I am capable of all the skills that I have logged?
