I understand there is a (controversial???) limit on which calculators you are allowed to use in exams.

Which of the supreme select is the best one for the job?

    Opinions please!

i personally prefer the Casio ones (have used Casio all my schooling days, until I got my TI); they much more functional/user friendly, offering the flexibility of both battery and solar power, computes faster (i have never noticed a time lag in between hitting "=" and solution appearing).

The Texas Instruments beats the Casio, ONLY because they have some financial functions built in like date calculations, IRR, PV, ete, but I don't understand why they can't come up with a dual powered one.

Having said that, the TI ones are allowed in both Institute and SOA/CAS exams. Casio ones are not allowed in SOA/CAS exams.
