From what I understand several people have, but they have all been forced to sign the official secrets act (something to do with secret excel functions that could compromise national security if they fell into the wrong hands). Don't expect anyone who has done the exam to be prepared to talk! However looking at the pass-rates, I don't think you have anything to fear...
Looks to me like it's: - a way of rubber stamping the work you do day in day out by the Institute - a money making exercise. Isn't it about £600? Wasn't the sign off of your employer(s) good enough?
That's very cynical! I do however agree. To be able to get through 3 years work experience without being able to use a spreadsheet or do an audit trail would be impressive. I'm not complaing though, as I'll get a pay-rise when I pass it.
