My friend owns 6km^2 of farmland (one plot - there are a few smaller plots) in Malawi but we can't utilise it fully because we do not have enough capital to finance the farm's operations and purchase of machinery.

Joyce Banda wants to make Malawi a net-exporter. The Nakala railway will open up the port of Mozambique to farmers in Malawi.

What would you guys do to get the farm operational and profitable?
