what would you do if you weren't an actuary?

    Astronaut. After Actuary that is without doubt the second most glamorous and exciting option!

    Government statistical service
    Economic adviser (public / private)
    Underwriter
    Lawyer
    Financial journalist
    Estate agent
    Management consultant
    Accountant

    A mechanical design engineer

    Working in Formula One or the automotive roadcar industry for BMW M division or Porsche or Ferrari or possibly automotive consultancy such as Ricardo Consulting.

    I think that would be a great job!
