What would be the best choice of ST paper that
    scould be taken with ST9?
And what would you suggest further on....in the SA level?

If you are a) Technical, b) Very, very Mathsy then go for ST6. Then read ST5 alongside SA6 and specialise in Investments but don't sit ST5.

Skin in the game?_I have ST6 and I'm striving to pass CA1 in April (Second sitting) aNd will then do ST9 then SA6.

    Maybe not the best advice.

Unfortunately ST9 has no SA level that directly relates to it. Quite a few people I know have picked investments but I don't see why ST9 can't be paired with life or gi. So I would say look at the syllabi of all the SA's, see which one interests you and then pick the ST mentioned in the syllabus that is a prerequisite for the SA you chose. Otherwise you will be in a situation where you'll have to pick a third ST to read just so you can understand the SA content. I'm assuming here that you do not want to do that.

Rvs if you are studying for the sake of knowledge, it may be important to give you a hint "you cannot separate Derivatives from Risk Management in real life!" Hence i said go for ST6 and ST9.

If you want to pass exams and qualify fast and don't care about being deep, go for the easiest subject to you!
