I would like to ask, what is usefullness of ActEd material for CA3? While its value add it is clear to me for other exams, I wonder, how much it help prepare one for the CA3 exam?
I would say that its the art of being able to get across financial and statistical concepts without the maths and terminology we take for granted. Yes we 'communicate' everyday but most people need practise at targeting a loss finacially/mathematically astute audience. But you can try without help if you like... given the pass rate I recommend grabbing any help there is
I found the 'answers' for the presentation useful because it gives some ideas on standard things to say for a CA3 presentation and how to outline the presentation to the audience. As for written part, I found doing and analysing old past year paper questions and solutions adequate.
