Unspecified invertible link function

    As a solution they have put up the link function as ߺ+ß1xi. Why dont we use the canonical link function of Log(mu) if the data is given as a poisson distribution? Solution is given as well. Thank you!

    Yeah - I agree. the canonical link function is invertible and so would meet the objective.

    Could you tell me how to go about it using the canonical link function?

    Since we have \(ln \mu_i = x_i\) we replace the \(\mu_i\)'s with \(e^{x_i}\)
