Can anyone please give me a few examples of DB and DC pension schemes in the UK?

I would like to try to read through their annual report for some extra insight.

    Thanks!

I think you are digging too deep but what will also have an indirect benefit to you is get hold of the one that you are in if you have joined in the UK. If not, pick a company you are interested in and Google. You should find it. Most companies now offer DC. But public sector have DB

... though it may help if you go on to study ST4/SA4
For DB, in the UK valuations of private sector schemes are at least every three years, so googling "triennial valuation report" or "sample triennial valuation report" may help.
For DC, probably the most important piece of information schemes need to provide their members with is an illustration of the benefits their fund may buy them - so googling "Statutory Money Purchase Illustrations" may be helpful.
