Two Population variance-critical value

    Two population variance.
    In CMP the Formula for two population variance ratio is given without % point of critical value.
    While in some solutions from past papers of India, critical value is calculated by considering % point.

    Wany clarification, which one is correct. Or I think am missing out something.

    Are you referring to Chapter 12? or chapter 11? Would like to help you but without referencing it makes it a little hard ;)

    Formula from Ch11-pg23
    The critical value is to be calculated from relevant % point.
    And in the soln of May'08-India-Q-13) b. it was given by considering the alpha/2 % point value.

    Now, by my understanding these two things are different.
    That is why i posted query about F,14,11 @5% how to find?

    If it's a 2 sided confidence interval then it will be the alpha/2% point value.
