Is anyone else finding the actuarial market particularly tough right now? I am currently looking for a job and finding it tough to even get a call for an interview ...
I think it has been picking up but at any given time there is only ever a couple of roles of any patricular interest for me personally in the good or bad times. Is this the same in the area you are looking at? If so I can see why it is so frustrating if one of them doesn't get back to you, takes a while for something interesting to come up again. I also think that a lot of roles come up around exam results time, so maybe a bit of an off season time also. Hang in there!
