Topics being dropped in 2016

I see that Ruin Theory, Extreme Value Theory and a significant part of the chapter on Latent Claims is being dropped from the 2016 syllabus.

I understand that they are still very much in scope for September but do people think they are more or less likely to come up? Less because they are less relevant now or more as this is the last chance they can be asked in an exam.
