    (Copy of a correction I put in the reddit post)
    Correction: my thanks to u/anamorph29 who has pointed out a flaw in my analysis: I should be comparing the number of new qualifiers not with the total number of students, but with the number of new students n years ago, where n is the median qualification time. See the Correction added at the end of the post below. Update 2: Reddit does not enable me to correct the title, if I could I would change the last part of it to "the student dropout rate looks to be over 50%, significantly higher than admitted in court: at most 1 in 2 students ever qualify (and it's almost certainly worse for women)"
