The IFoA's student dropout rate looks to be over 50%, significantly higher than admitted in court.

Using figures from the IFoA's Annual Reports, I estimate the student dropout rate figure at 90%, far higher than admitted in court: at most about 1 in 10 students ever qualify (and it's almost certainly worse for women). See

Correction: my thanks to u/anamorph29 who has pointed out a flaw in my analysis: I should be comparing the number of new qualifiers not with the total number of students, but with the number of new students n years ago, where n is the median qualification time. See the Correction added at the end of the post below.
