    Hello

I have encountered a "suggest" question which worth 7 marks (Question 6(iii) - April 2012)) and was wondering how many suggestions I meant to give and how much I should elaborate on this.

For example, do I need to provide 7 suggestions with elaborations
    or 14 suggestions?

    Thanks

    Hi Jane,

In the Student Handbook (which you can find on the IFoA website), there is a section on command verbs. Under "Suggest", it says:

Communicate a range of solutions, actions or reasons without justification.
(This is normally used in a situation where there is insufficient information
provided to form a definitive recommendation or proposal, e.g. “Suggest
possible reasons” or “Suggest possible actions”.)

This suggests to me that you're probably looking for more like 14 suggestions.

    I hope this helps!

    Anna
