Statement of changes in equity

    Hi there

    Just wondering the level of depth we need to know about statements of changes in equity. Do we need to know how to prepare them or just how to interpret them (similar to cashflow statements)?

    If anyone can point to a past exam question about them, that would be appreciated!

    It is generally asked along with balance sheet and profit loss accounts.

    Yes - in general it will be a 3 mark part at the end of a P&L and balance sheet question. You need to know the row headings, the column titles, and what goes in each of the boxes to track the changes in all equity reserves from the start of a year to the end of the year.
