I work in pensions consultancy and I’m moving to a new employer next month. I haven’t worked in the UK for a few years but now I've returned and I’m not sure what the current trends are for ST subject choice. My old employer (at least within the office I worked in) had a strong preference for us to study ST4 & ST5 but my new employer is entirely flexible what STs you sit. I’ve already got ST4 but I was wondering whether ST9 would actually be a good one to do as my other ST, especially in light of the renewed focus on risk management in consultancy. What does anyone else think, and are any employers steering people towards ST9?
