Hi, I qualified in 2010 and have been thinking about doing the St9 exam for a few years. I ordered the notes for the 2012 sitting, but didnt get round to sitting the exam. I am thinking about doing it for the April sitting - has the core reading changed since then? I can see there are a few erratum bits from 2013 to 2014 on the Institute website. Where there any changes from 2012 to 2013? Is the reading pretty much the core reading core reading and the sweeting / lam textbooks? thanks
The most significant change since ST9 was launched was the introduction of the new textbook by Sweeting in 2012. If you have the 2012 Notes there have been a few minor changes since, but these should be fine as the basis for your studies in 2014.
