How difficult is it to pass ST3 if you don't work in general? Do people often take and pass STs outside of their speciality or is it a rare occurrence? I posted a similar post on the ST2 forum, sorry if you read both.
I work in gi so probably not the best person to answer this..... but I honestly believe that it is not a hard exam (what ever the pass rates might look like)... I think it is an exam of technique and practice... if you have done enough past papers (back to 99/00) and good understand of the notes then it is very do-able... the amount of repition from previous years is high. But it might take you longer to get your head around some of the concepts....
Hi, How difficult is it to do the ST3 in a september sitting without the work experience? i am trying to decide between ST3, ST4 or CA3 in september. Any opinions?
