I'm not a human spreadsheet Did anyone else feel they spent a long time banging away at their calculator? The EBCT2 calculation required a lot of button pushing. Why is this included in an ST exam? Everyone sitting this exam would be able to set up an EBCT2 calculation on a spreadsheet, all formulae are in the formula book. Why do the examiners feel it necessary to test the accuracy of out button pressing? A similar issue surrounds the Bornhuetter-Furgosen calculation. I can see why it's in the exam, but does the initial estimate have to be calculated from so many years of past experience. Deriving it from one tests the same skills.
