SP5 Past Papers for SA7 Preparation

Hi,

Since Colin has mentioned multiple times that getting a grip on SP5 course notes is very important to pass SA7 exam. I was wondering if one should spend time reviewing SP5 past papers as well or just the SP5 course notes would be sufficient to pass SA7?

This very much depends on your SP5 knowledge. If you covered the material recently, and attribution, MWRR, TWRR, risk adjusted returns, VaR calcs, and valuation of derivative investments is fresh in your mind, you are probably fine. Otherwise I sometimes advise a refresh using some past papers. Many people will have done SP5 shortly before SA7 and will not need this though.
