There are 5 phases of ticket sales. For the first phase, the tickets are selected by a random draw; so whether you apply early or late would make no difference. However, in the second phase the tickets are allocated on a first-come-first serve basis. Apparently, some of friends said that you need to be waiting early in the morning outside an FNB branch to apply for these. Quite a joke hey! I'm not sure about the remaining 3 phases. I was really hoping to get a ticket to the final! Need to keep trying; I'll use whatever cash I have left over in my FNB FIFA bank account that was created...
