Kindly explain to me the example on simulation. Section 7.3 of chapter 3.

Am lost when it says " if the simulated value is 0, then we repeat the Monte Carlo simulation to obtain the simulated value of X2. "

Does it imply if it was 1 then we would not repeat ?

Please explain what we are trying to do here.

that imply, if it simulated to 1, then we simulate with Row 2(Row 2:statistical distribution for next state given current state is 1).

Note: if it simulated to same value as before, then we repeat simulation process with same Row(distribution) as before.... more generally, simulate every-time with current holding state's Row.
