I thought it was a tough paper overall. There was 2/3 quite nice questions with the rest being pretty challenging, in my opinion. I would expect the pass rate to be below average again.
I felt like I was Khan in a ring with AJ in that paper. A couple of tough questions although some were from past papers which helped. as C_F mentions.
I'm sorry to hear that September 2018 was another abnormally tough paper. Personally I chose to leave the IFoA and pursue a different route to qualification rather than resit this subject and by the sound of things I am rather glad I did. Does anyone have a link to the paper? I would be interested to see it.
The IFoA have just published the paper. I have to say, I think it is a relatively straightforward paper. Not quite as easy as the April 2016 or April 2017 papers, but certainly nothing like that April 2018 horror show.
