When calculating the dividends, where does the factor 10,000 come from?

I'd be grateful for any help. :)
 
its just to make it easier

10000 is the number of shares chosen to give nice big numbers in the equation of value.

its arbitrary you can see this by taking 10 shares or a hundred , we can multiply the equation of value by any scalar and we will still get the same solution for the interest rate.
