    Under the CFM assumption we know that tpx=e^-tμ
    In the core reading it specifies that this relationship is true when t is between [0,1]

    But in Q5 (Sep 2005) where we are being asked to calculate 1.25q20, we do the following:
    1.25q20 = 1 - 1.25p20 = 1 - e^-1.25μ
    and then we use the given value of μ=0.015 to evaluate this.
    Isn't this relationship (i.e tpx=e^-tμ) only valid when t is between [0,1]? Here t=1.25

    Would anyone be able to clarify this please?

    Thank you
