    In the solution, what do OD and AD stand for? Thanks.

    Ok. What would 'own damage' cover? Thanks.

    i think the solution refers to the self-insurance bit (described as own damage in the question).

    AD is a cover, as opposed to TP(third party) or TPFT (third part fire & theft)
