Please may you explain why the answer is C for the following question:

Which of the following would you normally expect to produce the highest running yield?
A Ordinary share
B Pref Shares
C Loan Stock
D Convertible loan stock
 
I think

the first 2 have voting rights and the 4th can be converted to a share and so also has voting rights , so the loan stock requires some sort of benefit to make up for this and it usually comes in the form of a higher return
