Hey guys, So how did we find the exam? I thought the first 7 questions were fairly reasonable but the remaining questions were quite tough. The Mortality profit question was different to the normal questions. THe last question i didnt finish due to time. Did you guys find that you were pretty pushed for time also?
Yah, it was pretty rough for me too... the last ques... I feel like a dunce, what did they mean about find the prem. in order to get the required rate of return? I froze on that one.
I thought the exam was mostly okay, apart from the last 2 questions. Had heaps of time saved up by that point from the earlier half of the exam, but I still didn't manage to get the right premium in the second to last question, and didn't quite finish the last one. Jem, that part confused me too. Luckily (?) I didn't have enough time to worry about it too much. I'd like to take another look at the question when the exam papers get put up on the website, to see what they were actually asking.
