    To me it seemed very different from previous papers.
    I'm particularly peeved about the Unit Linked question, but quite liked the Thiele question.

    erm there was no unit linked question or thieles, were we doing the same exam?
    i was particularly annoyed about no profit testing/pension/thieles as i knew all that well
    doubt i passed

    The last question was GCSE.

    I found the last question rather odd - it did seem at lot like GCSE maths but just with a 3-state model thrown in to make it look like a CT5 question. I was quiet pleased there was no pensions quiestions though...
     
  5. Exactly - no Unit Linked. That's why I was annoyed - they're usually a nice straightforward load of marks. On the other hand, glad no Thieles.
    Last question didn't really fit with the syllabus even. It just took a long time to crunch the numbers through.

    I was quite annoyed that this round they excluded topis such as pensions, multiple decrement and profit testing.

    probably a FA for me.

    What are the passing rates for CT5 in the previous years?
