Why will the premium be higher for curve A here - exactly what should we be looking at to help us make this deduction?
Hi Snowy Thanks for your query. The expected losses to the primary layer with limit 0.5M are higher if we assume curve A is appropriate rather than B because G(0.5) is greater using curve A than curve B. Hence the premium for the layer will be higher using curve A. Hope this helps Duncan
