    Hi All,

    Simple question. I know the question states that B = a+bZ so that B = a, a+b, a=2b, etc... but I was just wondering why Z is taking the values 0, 1, 2, etc...

    Thanks

    Z is a Poisson RV. It therefore takes discrete, non-negative values, hence {0,1,2,...}
