Hi all, After seeing comments about the "specimen" Sep 13 paper accidentally released, and being slaughtered in the April 13 exam with the giant capital question...I'm wondering what the best way to brush up my understanding on the subject matter is? I have no capital experience at work, so am looking for any useful papers/slides etc that might help give a practical understanding? As usual, the core reading seems to be inadequate and quite often confusing (eg take Chapter 7)! Many thanks, Thistle
Equally scared of capital! The capital modelling material in the ST7 notes covers about 4 chapters, I think, and goes into more depth. (Although presumably you've already read this!) If you're still hungry for more, the technical specification for QIS5 from EIOPA makes interesting reading!
