Good day,

I am reading the answer to this and I am really unsure how I would do this in an exam. The notes don't seem (as far as I can find) to help me come up with the numbers in this. Is it a bit of using any numbers or must they be 'reasonable' because I am worried how subjective this answer appears. Any help would be appreciated, thanks for your time.
 
SA5 Apr 2011 Q1 (iv) doesnt have any numbers. You may have typed the wrong paper, - if so please redo the question in the forum and I will see if I can add anything. (Q2 has numbers, but they are quite clear from the question, so I dont think its that)
 
If you search for this in the threads you find a lot of discussion on the question. there are various things that I would have done differently, and I am sure that the examiners were very open to reasonable calculations here. Search the threads and let me know if you are still unsure.
