Hi, I am sitting ST1 at the moment, but I am looking at SA1 notes on Acted.
Is it correct SA1 does not have flash card , ASET or revision notes?
what is the reason behind this, any ideas?

    Thanks

    Hi black_bird,

Yes, unfortunately that is the case for SA1. The number of students studying SA1 is so small that there is simply not demand for the range of products that we have for other subjects.

We do sell Mock Exams for SA1 and there is usually an SA1 tutorial if that helps!

I am afraid that the number of students sitting SA1 is very much smaller than for most other subjects (eg there are around 7 times as many candidates for SA2) and so the range of materials we can offer is smaller. So unfortunately we are not able to offer Flashcards, ASET or Revision Notes for SA1.

The nature of the specialist applications exams is also rather different to the earlier subjects. For example, the questions are much longer, which makes the style of the Revision Notes less suitable. As a result, we do not offer Revision Notes for any of the specialist applications subjects.

However, we do offer Practice Module Multiple Choice Booklets for Subject P1. Subject P1 uses the same Core Reading as SA1, and so these booklets can be used for SA1 revision as well. In many ways the P1 booklets are very similar to the Flashcards, ie lots of short questions to help you remember the Core Reading (and they come in a convenient small portable size too). The difference to Flashcards being that the P1 booklets use only multiple choice questions.

Good luck with the ST1 exam this time round.
