Could someone explain how we arrived at the first line on page 11 of chapter 6?

    By definition, s bar n = a bar n * (1+i)^n
    we know that (1+i) ^ n = e ^ delta n.
when you multiply (e ^ delta n) in the (a bar n) formula (integral) given in page 10, you will arrive at the formula given in the first line of page 11.

This is my understanding. Tutors, please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks.
