Can someone please help to clarify if reserving basis refers to the basis with which Actuarial carried out the reserving exercise, or the basis followed by Claims department when they set case reserves? Thank you!
It is the basis used by the actuarial team in the reserving exercise. See page 3 of Chapter 13 of the Course Notes.
