Reserving Averages

    Hi Guy's

    I am currently working on reserving average trying to factorise sets of reserves to use when new claims been reported. i.e each time there's a claim reported the person from the call centre claims hotline can use these factor reserve.

    The purpose for this is to enable us to have accurate reserves and not too Over Reserve, otherwise it effects out pricing rates. Does anyone have any thoughts of techniquies, I've used 'Chain Ladder'.
