I haven't seen this asked before - given the changes for the 2012 exams, how much will it help me to try the 2010 and 2011 exams? (I can get exam practice elsewhere e.g. through ActEd Mocks and the April 2012 paper. thanks, Rioch
The 2012 syllabus was tweaked a little but is substantially similar to 2011 and 2010. Hence the exams from 2011 and 2010 are still highly relevant to 2012 as they are examining against the same objectives. Of course, the change in textbooks and other materials means the content of the questions has changed a little for 2012. But, there are almost no questions in 2010/11 that could not be answered using the 2012 materials. We certainly recommend that you use the past papers to help you prepare for 2012.
