Hi Are reinstatement premiums only paid for aggregate and catastrophe excess of loss reinsurance, or are they also paid for risk excess of loss as well? Chapter 10 page 31 seems to suggest "yes" for risk excess of loss as well, or am I misunderstanding the sentence?
Reinstatements can apply to any form of XL, including Risk XL. In fact, how they work came up in the last exam!
