How many reasonable checks one should include in the audit trail to get all the marks allotted ( for the non data checks) ? Plz help.
 
You generally get one mark per check. Provided that it's mentioned & explained, that is.
Generally, these are easy enough to come by if you get into the habit of explaining each result you produce as you go along.
Such as "Surplus has increased from the base scenario, which is expected as mortality has increased, leading to lower death claim payouts."
