    Hi,

Can I ask if it is necessary to go back to SP7 and SP8 and re-read all the chapters as preparation for SA3? (this will take a while...)
How useful will this be in helping with SA3?

Also, how useful are the 'further reading' chapter? Can anyone suggest if it is necessary to go through each and every of them in detail or is it possible to attempt SA3 without having too much focus on the 'further reading' but on the core reading/PYP?

Any advice on above will be much appreciated!

It isn’t necessary. It would be somewhat useful.

When I took SA3 I just looked things up from SP7/8 whenever I felt I needed a refresher. No point in wading through a bunch of content I remember the gist of anyway.

On further reading, it’s really useful if you’re knowledgeable about something and then it comes up on the exam. I’d recommend 10-15% of your SA3 study time spend on wider reading.
