Hi,


There are a couple of assumptions in the solution I.e. birth occurs halfway through the year.

Just wondering if I can assume that birth occurs at the end of each year? Although I’ll obtain all different answers for the model.

If it's mentioned/implied in the question to assume midway through the year, then you should. Otherwise you can make any reasonable assumptions and note them in your audit trail.
