I am currently not working in GI, but would like to take ST7 in this coming April - could I check how much CT6 knowledge do I need in order to prepare for the ST7 exam? Many thanks in advance.
CT6 knowledge for ST7 I'm just finishing reading ST7, and I don't think there's anything in there assumed from CT6. There isn't anything in there that is particularly mathsy/statsy. There is some triangulation/chain ladder stuff in ST7, which I think used to be covered in CT6, although I think they might have taken it out now, but that's really straightforward anyway. I don't think there is anything in ST7 that should be a problem for someone working outside GI (although obviously you'll be at a slight disadvantage), and if you've already studies CA1, you'll already be familiar with alot of the first 10 chapters or so, which is nice.
