    Hi,

In the course note, chapter 12, Page 24

In the example mentioned, it said that the GNP in 1960 was 22.9bn(1960 prices and in 1980 it was 354.3bn(1980 prices). The economic growth they got is 10.5% per year.

I am not able to get this figure of 10.5% per year. Can anybody tell me how they got this figure.

    Thanks.

    Isn't the rest just inflation?

Are you working from the 2008 version of the notes? In my notes (the 2008 version) it gives a different example (from 1960 to 2006).
